Chapter 8
In this chapter, I learned more about bringing in style to links on web pages I create. Links are everywhere and are in almost every webpage people will be creating or have created. By providing some sort of animated feedback when a user hovers over the links is utilizing animations in a very subtle and meaningful way.There are three different ways to animate my links that I learned in this chapter. I learned the following to animate links:
- Animated Underline which will underline the links when you hover over them. This underline won’t just suddenly appear, since in the style tag there is a text decoration showing only when you hover over the link.
- Simple Background Color Change which will changing the link’s background color when you hover over it.
- Cooler Background Color Change which is when instead of having the background color just fading into view, it actually slides into view.
